In the 1970s, a research scientist studying feral animal eating habits observed that when a feral carnivore killed an herbivore, it first consumed the entrails, but when they ate carnivores; the meal was soon followed by eating grass! This was quite a revelation as it is commonly thought that animals only eat grass when they have an upset stomach. What did the entrails and grass have in common?
Delving deeper, it was observed that feral animals not only eat the top of the grass (for the phyto-nutrients), they actually pull at the grass. The “Eureka” moment came from connecting the dots, after reviewing research on organic soil. The organic soil was teaming with microscopic life. But again, what was the importance to feral animals?
A Brief SBO Primer
SBO’s, are tiny microbes that live in soil. Prior to the industrial age, soils were teaming SBOs. Soil scientists know that top soil (the top 6” of soil) that grows our fruits and vegetables is biologically dead- completely void of SBOs!
According to medical research scientist Dr. William C.Bryce, M.D., Ph.D., “Among other functions SBO’s produce and release powerful enzymes that sterilize the soil of putrefactive organisms, and thereby help prepare the soil to support new plant growth. Without SBO’s, lush plant growth could not take place because the soil would be too contaminated with yeasts, molds, fungi, candida and other harmful organisms that are antagonistic to plant growth and reproduction.
The enzymes produced by the SBO’s solve this problem by helping kill off huge amounts of the harmful elements in the soil. Dr. Bryce points out that in addition to the above function, SBO’s also produce and release nutrients and growth hormones which, when absorbed through the roots of plants, help stimulate the reproductive cycle in the plants. For example, the growth hormones produced by SBO’s are biologically activated to stimulate seed maturation. Simultaneously, these hormones also accelerate further numeric growth of the SBO colonies themselves.”
Nutritional Value and Vital Force
Soil scientists have long known that the topsoil used to raise commercial fruits and vegetables is dead. There is a direct connection between the decades use of toxic pesticides, insecticides and fertilizers, to the decline in nutritional value and vital force of our food supply.
Fruits, vegetables, and commercially raised meat, fowl, pork, and fish do not provide the same nutrient value, or vital force, as their free-range and grass-fed counterparts. Vital Force is measured in Angstrom units, which are measure units of light. The theory is that more light a food has the greater the vital force.
Perhaps you are beginning to see a connection between the absence of SBOs and the increase of health issues.
Digestion and SBOs
SBOs perform the same job in the digestive tract as they do in soil. In the GI tract, SBOs maintain the balance against bad bacteria, which can quickly gain the upper hand. Even the slightest imbalance results in bad gas, or diarrhea. Digestion is a time sensitive process; too fast or too slow causes gastrointestinal stress. Left unattended, chronic GI imbalances like constipation, IBS, and Crohns Disease can develop.
“Fully 90% of all chronic diseases are caused by an unhealthy intestinal system.” The Royal Society of Medicine of Great Britain
SBOs: The Superior Probiotic
During the early stages of SBO research, Dannon put forth an advertising campaign using actors dressed as Hunzas. The audience was supposed to make the leap that eating Dannon yogurt would help them live long healthy lives. The campaign was a huge financial success. Alas, there are numerous problems with dairy-based probiotics:
• Many people (and animals) are lacto-intolerant
• Commercial grade milk contains growth hormones and antibiotics
• The shelf life of dairy-based probiotic strains is very low
• Stomach Acids destroy most dairy-based probiotics
SBOs as the best alternative to dairy-based probiotics was not on the health conscious radar until about 9 years ago when a research scientist made the connection between SBOs and GI health. He isolated and studied how various strains of SBOs interacted with each other. When he compared them to dairy-based probiotics, he found SBOs superior in every way. Alas, the dairy-based probiotic campaign was well funded by the dairy industry.
Although still well under the average consumer’s radar, it is indisputable that SBOs are the superior probiotic. They are essential to restore and maintain optimum GI health in animals and humans. Daily administration increases mental and physical performance. SBOs also play a major role when dealing with immune diseases, as well as the toxic effects of chemotherapy and cancer medications, whose side effects include severely diminished bowel function.
It is important to know that SBOs are visitors to the GI tract; they need to be replenished daily to maintain optimum GI balance. For it is through the stomach that the rest of the body depends. A daily diet of organic foods and SBOs are far less costly than medical bills and a lifetime of medications.
Truly, SBOs are both “The Fountain of Youth, and The Magic Bullet” to restoring and maintaining GI health for humans or pets.
